A staffing and career platform built with Accenture: 89 API routes behind role-based access, and an agent that ranks candidates for open project roles.

The brief
Accenture needed one place where employees keep their CV, skills, certificates and career path, and where leads can staff projects from that data. We built it as a 4-person team over 3 months, with Next.js, TypeScript and Supabase on Vercel, and presented it to Accenture leadership.
Who can see what
The platform has four role-gated areas on top of the regular employee view: admin, project lead, people lead and project manager. - Next.js middleware refreshes the Supabase session on every request and clears stale auth cookies when a refresh token is no longer valid, so users get a clean login instead of a broken page. - Before a protected area renders, the middleware checks the user's level through the API. - If that check itself fails, the request goes back to the dashboard instead of being let through.
Staffing with an agent
I integrated a teammate's agent-based staffing engine into the platform. For each open role, it scores every candidate on weighted factors: seniority, completed projects, experience with the same client, required and complementary skills, similar past roles, certifications and versatility.
I wired it into the platform's data and API routes and validated its picks with test runs before leads relied on it.
Results
